STATE FAMILY DAY Sunday, August 10, KJT Activity and Fraternal Center, La Grange,
10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. A complimentary meal will be served
from noon to 1:30 p.m. Soft drinks and water will be available. There will be
two moonwalks for the kids and impromptu domino, taroky and bunco tournaments.
Be sure to bring your sunscreen, lawn chairs and towels. If you want to fish,
bring your fishing equipment and bait. Horseshoe and washer throw areas will be

August 15, St. Luke's Catholic Church Family Parish Hall, 4603 Manitou at Callaghan
and 410, San Antonio, 6:30-10:30 p.m. Social begins at 6:30 p.m. with dinner being
served at 7:30 p.m. Music will be provided by Chris Rybak. For reservations contact

polka music, meal, auctions, country store, souvenirs, cake walk, mini-carnival
and much more. The Prazka Pout welcomes Czechs from Texas and around the U.S.
to celebrate with food, games and live music throughout the day. Music will be
by the Red Ravens, Texas Legends Czech Band and Harry Czarnek. TEXAS DISTRICT
NATIONAL ALLIANCE OF CZECH CATHOLICS ANNUAL MEETING, PRAHA Friday, August 15,
St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 2 p.m. The Texas District National
Alliance of Czech Catholics supports seminaries, hospices and youth centers in
the Czech Republic. Come join the fun at the parish's annual picnic and stop by
