KJT STATE FAMILY DAY Sunday, August 10, KJT Activity and Fraternal Center, La Grange, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. A complimentary meal will be served from noon to 1:30 p.m. Soft drinks and water will be available. There will be two moonwalks for the kids and impromptu domino, taroky and bunco tournaments. Be sure to bring your sunscreen, lawn chairs and towels. If you want to fish, bring your fishing equipment and bait. Horseshoe and washer throw areas will be set up.

PRAZKA POUT, PRAHA Friday, August 15, St. Mary's Church, FM 1295 off US 90 two miles east of Flatonia. There will be country and polka music, meal, auctions, country store, souvenirs, cake walk, mini-carnival and much more. The Prazka Pout welcomes Czechs from Texas and around the U.S. to celebrate with food, games and live music throughout the day. Music will be by the Red Ravens, Texas Legends Czech Band and Harry Czarnek.
