KJT State Family Day - May 5, 2012

Be sure to come join us for KJT State Family Day to be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the KJT Activity and Fraternal Center. The fun will begin at 1:30 a.m. with dinner being served from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you plan on dining with us, please ensure that you RSVP by Wednesday, May 2 so that we can have ample food on hand.  Activities include attendance prizes every half hour, face painting, a balloon artist, a 75 foot Slip 'N' Slide, bingo for kids up to 12 years of age, fishing, and Mass at 4:00 p.m.  Click here for all details.  We hope to see you there, and feel free to bring guests!

KJT State Family Day - Join Hands Day Project

As May 5, 2012 is Join Hands Day, a national day of volunteering, we are collecting used cell phones to be donated to "Cell Phones for Soldiers" as well as used eyeglasses that will be donated to Lions Club International.  Working together, we can make a difference in the lives of many many people!  You can visit the websites www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com and www.lionsclub.org for more details on these programs.  In appreciation for your donations, anyone who brings either a cell phone or eyeglasses will receive an additional ticket for the attendance prize drawings that will be held that day.

I hope you are noticing some of the changes on the new website!  Our latest addition can be found at the top of this page.  If you would like to do your part in helping KJT save on printing costs and postage costs of the KJT News, click on the green square at the top of the page and sign up for electronic delivery of the paper.  All you have to do is provide us with your email address, name, and mailing address and you will begin receiving your copy of the KJT News in your inbox instead of or mailbox.  Please be sure to add info@kjtnet.org to your "safe senders list" so our email to you won't go to spam.  Thanks so much for doing your part in helping KJT control costs while at the same time getting your copy of the KJT News sooner!

Our new cookbook, "Cooking With The KJT (Vareni s KJT)", is now available! Order forms can be found by clicking here or in the KJT News. The books are $15 each including tax if picked up at the home office and $20 if shipping is requested. Members and friends of KJT have submitted 646 recipes in the categories of Appetizers & Beverages, Soups & Salads, Vegetables & Side Dishes, Main Dishes, Breads and Rolls, Desserts, Cookies & Candy, and This & That. Profits from the sales of "Cooking With The KJT (Vareni s KJT)" will go to the KJT Memorial Foundation.
