Introducing
KJT's New State Treasurer Kevin Kana
Hello. My name is Kevin Kana and as the new State Treasurer of the Catholic
Union of Texas, the KJT, I would like to briefly introduce myself. I am a lifelong
member of Sts. Martin and Wenceslaus Charter Society #4 in Ammannsville. After
graduating from La Grange High School, I attended Texas A&M University in College
Station where I earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. My background includes
corporate accounting in the medical, insurance, oil and gas, and banking industries.
I am active in my home parish of St. John the Baptist in Ammannsville where I
serve as a lector, Eucharistic minister, Rosary leader and usher. In our local
KJT society I am on the Building Fund Committee. In my spare time, I enjoy football
and baseball and can usually be found in The Zone of Kyle Field on Saturday afternoons
in the fall.
Congratulations!

KJT'S
Magestic Old Oak Is Hopefully On The Mend
The large oak tree located
in the courtyard of the KJT Home Office has been declining in beauty for the past
several years, but in the past year the tree had become greatly stressed. A number
of tree experts were called to examine the tree, but no one had a definite answer
or cause. Full story...
